Firstly, a little humour. There's something about the concise story-telling in a cartoon that appeals to me, quite aside from the visual element of the humour (I grew up appreciating B&W silents) so when a cartoon tickles me, I cut it from the paper and save it.

I'm not much of a tv watcher but I am indulging in Sherlock Holmes on which-ever channel. For me, Jeremy Brett is definitive. None finer. With Edward Hardwicke as Watson.

Lamb is cooking in the oven, (smells very appetising), I have coffee and hexs to cut out, Holmes deducing all over, and a blueberry muffin tempting me from the chest.

It's nippy outside (an edge of incipient frost) and I can see the crescent moon.

The air smells of gunpowder... Random, huh? :P
